Remember back when Morrissey got in all loads of trouble—I mean, okay, I know, when hasn't he been in hot water the last two decades, but I'm talking about that one time in specific where he was about to embark on a big tour and sell a merch shirt design with the phrase "I wear black on the outside ’Cause black is how I feel on the inside" written around the head of writer/activist James Baldwin. Anyway, all tone deafness aside, I think I'm in the clear when I co-opt the phrase here, because I do believe this embodies the "I wear black on the outside, 'Cause black is how I feel on the inside" sentiment to a T on this tee.—Cliver
